Obviously I don't mean the entirety of the anime, the part where they don't recognize the ppl they are hanging out with. I just finished This season, the last episode was a bit disappointing non the less, that made me somewhat hate umaru , for lying till the end, though I was expecting from the start, that some one gonna interrupt when they are trying to say the important part. It's one of the oldest gag in anime. Will at least she told the truth about her brother to umaru, that satisfied me.

Will their is still another season, I expect the anime will end right after they learn each other secret, with a bit more emotional depth to it. Still I wish the author's would stop holding back and writer what eventually would happen, without beating out the bushes.

Anyways was a grate anime to pass the time, enjoyed.

I always considered the sequel as one of the biggest improvement in all anime when compared sequel to the predecessor.
Umaru is much more bearable in the sequel. Sylphy as well and we even get a lot of Ebina screentime.

That’s true I liked both but I really liked season 2 more because it just had better things going on. But overall I give it a 8/10 over all. Love the characters story, music, animation and the plot over all!!!!😆😆😊😊

I get what you mean but over all I do still love the series but I like season 2 more than season 1. Hope it get a season 3.

Season one was so fun though! It's still one of my go to Blu-rays if my Internet is down or I'm just out of anything to watch! I used to feel I could relate to Umaru in a way because she acted differently in public Vs at home, and I think most people (especially working people) do the same. Before almost dying and becoming disabled, I know I had a work persona, and a "Thank God I'm home and can finally be myself!" persona, much like Umaru! I enjoyed season two as well, but almost feel I liked season one slightly better. Just my opinion though. 😁✌️

I just finished season 2 and I agree that season 1 wasn’t super good. But season 2 is better. I do like all the characters except ebina because she is kinda useless and just there for the service. I hate characters that are just for the service

First season is dry. They improved a ton by making Umaru genuinely more human. Not just because she literally appears that way more, but more so her conscious decisions starting to have weight to them.

Tachibana also had some great development in the second season. The scene in particular where she went to one of her favorite local establishments and saw it close down was actually such an empathetic moment for the viewer. It was a genuinely sad scene handled wonderfully.

If Umaru only had one season, I wouldn't have missed it. But the second season left me wanting more. That definitely says a lot about how to improve a bad first impression that many, many anime can never do. If not burying whatever left they had by the next season.

Yes, that's very true, that's why mostly everyone agreed with me in the comment section. with the exception of you, who took a total opposite approach when compare to other in this same post.

just because you like a character doesn't mean, you shouldn't criticism them when they do something terribly or bad. you should knowledge them as they are.

it seems like any thoughts are wasted on you

I never said that I like character or against criticism in the first place duh. I underlined my key-point of whole anime, but you can't at least try to understand people who responding non-positively don't you? Say who's actions are wasted here. Make a fuss over nothing is a better way, huh?
