IRL focal lenght has no effect. It's the mirror system that creates the bokeh. Check for Catadioptric lenses if optics interest you.
You know, I kinda like the Mom and one of the other female characters in the original Big Brother, but those graphics are starting to look a bit "dated". I'd like to see the characters redone using G8 models and skins and maybe trying different lighting effects as well. Just my .02.
I'd do it in Photoshop since that is the software I have but there are other (probably better or easier) options.
You can use every image editing software you are comfortable with - even MS Paint.......

And if you are not comfortable with any image editing software like my grandma, you can always do what she'd do and print the image, type the text in with a pen and scan it.
She's not under used now
