Has anyone noticed some issues with "Last Updated" field values lately?

For example, Grandma's House has "Thread Updated" and "Last Edited" of 2025-02-27 and "Release Date" of 2025-02-15, but the field in the tool says 2025-02-26. In the last few update checks I've seen a lot along these lines, which is admittedly very minor. But OTOH Fairy FINDR has "Thread Updated" and "Last Edited" of 2025-02-26 and "Release Date" of 2025-02-25, but the field says 2023-08-04! That's the date of the first post. It's possible this field had never been updated since I added the game, not sure.

It's also possible this isn't a brand new issue. For I guess a few months lately I've been noticing that some games that showed up in the "Updated Games" dialog were pretty far down the list (I sort by the "Last Updated" field), but I didn't investigate. I just assumed the date came from the "Release Date" and that it took a while for a leak to be posted.

#####

I should figure out how to create these symbolic links.
In addition to what WhiteVanDaycare said, there's a great tool called that adds entries to the right-click context menu in File Explorer. I've been using it for years. It also allows creation of other types of "links" (hard links and junctions) but just stick to symlinks unless you want to learn the differences. ;)

Edit: And if you decide to go link crazy like me, is a great tool for finding all those links you dropped all over the place. :ROFLMAO:

Seems something is slightly leaking memory over time, since the program commits way more than it should?
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
On start the commit is at ~800mb

i remove references to things i dont need anymore and they get freed correctly. its just a quirk of windows. when your pc actually needs the ram, it will go and uncommit what it has committed. its not actually in use.

I just want to say THANK YOU for this...

This may allow me to finally close my - checks notes - 253 F95 tabs and 499 bookmarks that I used to keep track of games I've played and want to play.

I only have two suggestions, and I understand if they're just not technically feasible:

- Import the 'comments' value(s) from the F95 bookmarks.
- Import the 'labels' from the F95 bookmarks.

Cool! And I understand priorities!

I do have one other suggestion - and perhaps this already exists and I just haven't figured it out yet - the ability to search tags and labels from the search bar at the bottom. I know I can do filters on the right, but I can't quickly jump to a value in the filter drop down by typing a letter as it's interpreted as a search, so if I could do something like:
Code:
tag: creampie
in the search box, it would return all results I've added that have the creampie tag.

that has been on the todo for over a year, and there is a pr open with a implementation for it. im yet to look at it

Hi,
THANK YOU willie for making this app. This app is my daily driver for updates but I'm having some problems recently. It seems that it doesn't refresh at all.
Here's the traceback text file and a screenshot. I hope it helps.

not reinstall windows, update it. i dont mean 10 to 11. i mean update whatever you have.
I dont wanna be a schizo but there's been SSL certificate issue in chrome not on firefox. I dont know its my server issue or something else.
When I'm going to some certain website cloudflare security doesnt let me through in chrome BUT in firefox it lets it through.

that sounds like the issue. chrome is using your system certificates, just like f95checker, and firefox is not.

this stupid chromium is making me mad. Firefox's working just fine. It's same issue in Linux too. Damm it.
i doubt chromium is the issue. f95checker doesnt use chromium. what it does use is your system certificates. either your certificates are out of date, which means system out of date, or your clock/date are wrong.

only other reasonable option is a man in the middle attack. someone intercepting your communication, could be public wifi, could be your internet provider, could be a weird kind of vpn/proxy, could be a neighbour. why firefox works would be because i assume they enabled DoH or DoT (DNS over TLS/HTTPS), which allows your browser to safely get the destination ip addresses without chance of someone returning bad DNS results. ideally, DoH and DoT would be done at system level, but windows is years behind on that front, and on linux its possible but not default nor easy.
or maybe it could just be wrong dns, again explained by the above with doh/dot but not due to man in the middle, just someone blocking access to the ip address.

- update
- fix clock and date
- try changing dns
- try with a (different) vpn
